I had a credit account and lost most of my income n couldn't pay the payments and set up payments but income got less n missed a payment n now calls started coming again. I was making $45 n $50 dollar payments and they won't take less the bill is less than $800 now!

Hello. I have a question regarding a levy issued by Patenaude & Felix. How can I find out what is it about?!

I have an old credit card that is with Patenaude and Felix, they are trying to do a wage garnishment on this, I have been trying to work with them to make payment without a wage garnishment they are willing do that but with high monthly payments that will be hard for me to make, I have made previous payments in the past but had to stop (will explain my situation when I talk to someone) but they said since I have broken past arrangements that's why they payments have to be high now. I need to help trying to negotiate with them. They are a little hard to deal with and sometimes don't reply to my emails and calls and sometimes a little rude when I do talk to them!

They levied bank account without sending me any notification. They also will not confirm my debt. I don't recognize it. I never recall the summons being serviced to me and he said it could have been left with anyone yet the address is not one I lived at. I was not offered to make a settlement they just sent a letter to garnish wage and I do not work in that state anymore. My bank account didn't have enough money for the 125 dollars they tried to take. They said I owe 2200 yet the original cc they say I had only had a limit of 600. I asked for someone to tell me what the charges were this card was from 1999. The default judgement was obtained in 2011. Unbeknownst to me as I never recall the summons and moved out of state in 2012.

they levied my bank account after the statute and they never sent a letter of intent prior. thank you for helping

I was mailed documentation for nonpayment of a credit card debt. I called them and explained that I lost my job in January, have no retirement/savings, am ineligible for unemployment, live with my mother, and have a 19-year old vehicle. EVERY other collection agency with whom I've had to deal with is understanding and tells me to notify them when my situation changes or to have my bankruptcy attorney (when I find one) contact them. NOT this company. I was recently served with a summons and complaint. I wrote to them telling them that I was filing bankruptcy in February (I have to wait until then) and that I was judgment proof. Every time I call them, they are rude. I'm not filing an answer because not only can I not afford it but, as mentioned, I will be filing bankruptcy in February. I suppose I am looking for advice in this matter. I am sure I will be served the court's judgment against me when they get it, but again, in February they won't be receiving anything. Thank you for your time.

This law firm calls me non stop and despite telling them about my current financial status, they continue harassing me and even threaten me with the police. I am struggling financially and have not been able to pay "minimum" balances, but what i can afford to pay them.

I had received a summons back in 2013 for a student loan debt. I answered the complaint but apparently I did not answer properly then I was contacted by Patenaude & Felix Law Firm telling me that I basically will not win in court because I admitted to debt and they talked me into a settlement which I started making payments in 3/2013 until 1/2014 when I lost the full time job I had. I told them I cannot continue payments. They left me alone until now I got a Declaration and (proposed) Order to set aside Notice of Settlement to re-enter Judgement. So I guess they are going to try to get a Judgement on me again. I only work part time now and I have to start repaying Great Lakes for a consolidated loan that was defaulted and which I just completed the rehabilitation program and I am now in an income based repayment plan.
