Who is National Credit Adjusters?

National Credit Adjusters is a third-party collection agency, headquartered in Hutchinson, KS, and started its business locally in about 2001. National Credit Adjusters is a limited liability company. According to the Better Business Bureau (“BBB”), started its business in 1959. The BBB also lists alternate business names, such as International Homes (affiliated business), NCA, 4 Sum Inc., and . Maybe operated under a different business name when it started in 1959.It appears that collects on debts owed to third parties. Unlike some collection agencies, NCA does not appear to be a junk-debt buyer. For example, some collection agencies buy debt for pennies on the dollar, and then collect on it. Based on what we know, NCA does not buy debt—it simply collects on it on behalf of third parties. NCA collects on various debts. We’ve helped a lot of consumers deal with when NCA is collecting on payday loans. For example, here are the names of some popular payday loan companies: CashNetUSA, Check Into Cash, Speedy Cash, TitleMax, LoanMart, Finova Financial, TMG Loan Processing, Ace Cash Express, Advance America Cash Advance, One Click Cash, and Mobiloans.According to the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, “[w]hile there is no set definition of a payday loan, it is usually a short-term, high cost loan, generally for $500 or less, that is typically due on your next payday. Depending on your state law, payday loans may be available through storefront payday lenders or online.” We have seen work with or for Summit Receivables, which is another third-party debt collector that collects on payday loans.

Phone Numbers Used By National Credit Adjusters

National Credit Adjusters likely has dozens, if not over 100, phone numbers it calls from. Here are a few phone numbers NCA may be calling you from:

National Credit Adjusters Lawsuits

If you want to know just how unhappy consumers are with NCA, take a look at the number of lawsuits filed against on the Public Access to Court Electronic Records (“PACER”). PACER is the federal docket throughout the country that lists federal complaints filed against NCA. When you do a search for , there are over 400 lawsuits filed against NCA. Most of these lawsuits involve consumer rights’ violations.

National Credit Adjusters Harassment

The Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (“FDCPA”) is a federal law that applies to everyone in the United States. In other words, everyone is protected under the FDCPA. The FDCPA is a laundry list of what can and cannot do while collecting a debt, as well as things debt collectors must do while collecting a debt. If NCA is harassing you over a debt, you have rights under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.

The Telephone Consumer Protection Act (“TCPA”) protects you from robocalls. Robocalls are those annoying, automated, recorded calls that a computer makes to you all day long. You can tell it’s a robocall because either no one is on the other end of the line or there’s a delay when you pick up the phone before a live person comes on the line. You can get $500 per call if NCA violates the TCPA. Have you received a message from NCA that sounds pre-recorded? Or, maybe the message you received from NCA is cutoff at the beginning or the end? These are tell-tale signs that the message is pre-recorded. If you have these messages on your cell phone, you may have a TCPA case against National Credit Adjusters.

The Electronic Fund Transfer Act (“EFTA”) protects electronic payments that are deducted from bank accounts. If took unauthorized deductions from your bank account, you may have an EFTA claim. NCA, like most collection agencies, wants to set up reoccurring payments from consumers. Imagine how much money NCA gets if hundreds, if not thousands, of consumers electronically pay them $50-$100, or more, per month. If you agreed to this type of reoccurring payment, NCA must follow certain steps to comply with the EFTA. Did NCA continue to take electronic payments after you said stop? Did NCA take more money from your checking account than you agreed to? If so, let’s talk about your rights under the EFTA.

The Fair Credit Reporting Act (“FCRA”) works to ensure that no information reported to your credit report is false. In essence, it gives you the right to dispute those inaccuracies that you find on your credit report. We handled a lot of cases recently where reported debt on a consumer’s credit report. NCA likely reports on credit reports to obtain greater leverage over the consumer. If NCA is on your credit report, they may tell you if you pay the debt, they’ll remove it from your credit report. This is commonly known as pay for delete. You pay NCA, and they delete the debt from your credit report. Even if NCA is not on your credit report, maybe the original creditor is. If you pay off the debt to NCA, then the original creditor, and NCA, should accurately report this on your credit report. For example, if is working with, or on behalf of, Summit Receivables, and you pay either party the full amount, or a settlement in full, this payment should be reflected on your credit report.

Several states also have laws that provide its citizens an additional layer of protection. For example, if you live in California, Texas, Florida, North Carolina, Wisconsin, Michigan, Montana, or Pennsylvania you may be able to tack on a state-law claim with your federal law claim above. North Carolina, for example, has one of the most consumer-friendly statutes in the country. If you live in NC, and you’re harassed over a debt, you may get $500.00 - $4,000.00 in damages per violation. We work with a local counsel in NC. Our NC clients have receive some great results in debt collection harassment cases. If you live in NC, and is harassing you, you have tons of leverage to get a great settlement.

HOW CAN WE USE THE LAW TO HELP YOU?

We will use state and federal laws to immediately stop debt collection. We will send a cease and desist letter to get the harassment to stop the same day. If NCA violates the FDCPA, EFTA, FCRA, or any state laws, you may be entitled to money damages. For example, under the FDCPA, you can get up $1,000.00 in damages plus actual damages. The FDCPA has a fee-shift provision. This means, NCA pays our attorney’s fees and costs. If you have a TCPA case against NCA, we will handle it based on a contingency fee.

THAT’S NOT ALL…

We have helped hundreds of consumers stop NCA phone calls. We know how to stop the harassment and get you money damages. ONCE AGAIN, you will not pay us a penny for our time. We will help you based on a fee-shift provision and/or based on a contingency fee. That means, NCA pays our attorney’s fees and costs.

What If National Credit Adjusters Is On My Credit Report?

Based on our experience, NCA does credit report. That means, NCA will mark your credit report with the debt they are trying to collect on. In addition to , the original creditor may be on your credit report. For example, if you owe Great Plains on a payday loan, and NCA is collecting on it, both Great Plains and NCA may have separate entries on your credit report. This is important because you will want both parties to update your credit report if you pay off the debt.

THE GOOD NEWS IS…

If NCA is on your credit report, we can help you dispute it. Mistakes on your credit report can be very costly. Along with causing you to pay higher interest rates, you may be denied credit, insurance, a rental home, a loan, or even a job because of these mistakes. Some mistakes may include someone else’s information on your credit report, inaccurate public records, stale collection accounts, or maybe you were a victim of identity theft. If you have a mistake on your credit report, there is a process to dispute them. My office will help you pull your credit report and dispute any inaccurate information.

REMEMBER…

If a credit reporting agency violates its obligations under the Fair Credit Reporting Act (“FCRA”), you may be entitled to statutory damages up to $1,000.00, plus the credit reporting agency will be required to fix the error. The FCRA also has a fee-shift provision. This means, the credit reporting agency pays your attorney’s fees and costs. Therefore, you will not pay me a penny for my time. We have helped dozens of consumers fix inaccurate information on their credit reports.

National Credit Adjusters Complaints against

If you’re on this page, chances are you are just like the hundreds of consumers out there being harassed by National Credit Adjusters. The complaints on the Better Business Bureau (“BBB”), various consumer websites, Google Reviews, and even the complaints on this page (below) are endless. NCA is not accredited by the BBB. There are nearly 200 customer complaints on the BBB.Here are some of the many BBB complaints regarding National Credit Adjusters:

 1. “Calling for an employee who no longer works for the CU. We have asked them multiple times to stop calling. When the phone is answered, there is an immediate hang up. Call is received multiple times a day followed by the hang up.”
 2. “Wrongfully reporting on my credit reports. I spoke with a rep. at NCA that confirmed they could no longer collect and the debt was paid in full. I called NCA yesterday and was directed to leave a voicemail. This debt was deducted from my dad's account via debit. There has been more than sufficient time to update this information. Instead the frequent reporting of incorrect debt has hurt my score further.”
 3. “ are calling me repeatedly for months regarding a past debt that has been paid to them in full.”
 4. “Attempt to collect invalid debt. Have been notified before not to call me anymore.I have told this organization not to call, the debt is not a valid debt, will not be honored by me. They continue to call me on cell phone and place of business.”

Google Reviews do not get any better for National Credit Adjusters. Out of 22 reviews on Google, NCA has an average of 1.7 stars. Here’s what people on Google have to say about NCA:

 1. "Extremely rude and the most unprofessional staff I have ever dealt with!"
 2. "Rude and nasty people will not work with you on your debt."
 3. “They have the wrong number, but call my phone several times a day. When I answer, they hang up. If I call back, I can't get a real person on the phone.”

Cases We Have Handled Against National Credit Adjusters

I THINK YOU’LL AGREE WITH ME WHEN I SAY…

Threats and harassment by collection agencies can be pretty intimidating. Well, it turns out we can stop the harassment, attempt to get you money damages under the law, and the collection agency will have to pay us our fees and costs. Here are some of the cases we’ve handled against NCA:

Randall F. v. National Credit Adjusters, LLC.

In this case, NCA attempted to collect a RISE personal loan from our client. NCA called our client on his cell phone and on his work phone. NCA called 714-782-0500, which is one of NCA’s phone numbers. Our client told NCA to stop calling, but NCA continued to call. Our client also alleged NCA left him voicemail messages that did not have the proper disclosures. Randall alleged that Summit Receivables violated the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.

Holly O. v. National Credit Adjusters, LLC.

Holly lives in Colorado, and NCA was calling our client on her cell phone. NCA called from 719-281-2699 and 719-281-2681, both of which are numbers belonging to NCA. Our client alleged she told NCA to stop calling. We even sent NCA a cease and desist letter. Despite our client’s efforts, and our cease and desist letter, NCA continued to call Holly in an attempted to collect a debt. We sued NCA in federal court and alleged NCA violated the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.

Jalesa H. v. National Credit Adjusters, LLC.

Here, NCA was attempting to collect on a debt allegedly owed to Kay Jewelers. NCA called our client from 769-235-2209, and spoke with our client a few times. Each time, our client told NCA the debt had been paid. Our client also told to stop calling. Despite already paying the debt, we alleged NCA continued to call and harass our client. In this case, our client alleged violated the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.

Here’s What Our Clients Say About Us

Agruss Law Firm, LLC, has over 900 outstanding client reviews through Yotpo, an A+ BBB rating, and over 125 five-star reviews on Google. Here’s what some of our clients have to say about us.

“A student loan servicer called me all day long. Agruss Law Firm stopped the calls and got me money. Great job!”

“I was being harassed by debt collectors that were over 10 years old, threatening to take me to court put me in jail on taking money directly from my checking account or savings account. I did a little bit of research online and came up with Agruss Law Firm. He was very helpful and explained everything in detail. If it was not for him I would still be getting the harassing calls. Thank you so much for your help and patience.”

“Awesome team, very quick, always kept in touch to let me know what was going on, and very nice people. I would recommend them anytime.”

Can National Credit Adjusters Sue You?

Although anyone can sue anyone for any reason, we have never seen sue consumers. It’s likely NCA does not sue because they are not a junk-debt buyer. Also, NCA would have to hire a lawyer, or use in-house counsel, to file a lawsuit. It’s likely NCA collects debts through the entire country. Therefore, it would be very difficult to have lawyers, or a law firm, licensed in every state. There are collection agencies that do sue consumers. For example, Portfolio Recovery Associates is one of the largest junk-debt buyers. Portfolio Recovery Associates collects on debt and also sues on debt. So, it would be very unusual if NCA sued you. The original creditor, on the other hand, may hire a collection firm, or lawyer, to sue you. If has threatened to sue you, call us. We can help.

Can National Credit Adjusters Garnish Your Wages?

No, not unless they have a judgment. If has not sued you, then NCA cannot get a judgment. If does not have a judgment, then NCA cannot garnish your wages. Minus limited situations (usually dealing with debts owed to the government for student loans, taxes, etc.), in order to garnish someone’s wages, you need a judgment first. In short, we have not seen file a lawsuit against a consumer. So, NCA cannot garnish your wages, minus the exceptions listed above. If has threatened to garnish your wages, contact our office right away.

National Credit Adjusters Settlement

If you want to settle a debt with National Credit Adjusters, ask yourself these questions first:

 1. Do I really owe this debt?
 2. Is this debt within the statute of limitations?
 3. Is this debt on my credit report?
 4. If I pay this debt, will remove it from my credit report?
 5. If I pay this debt, will the original creditor remove it from my credit report?
 6. If I pay this debt, will I get something in writing from confirming the payment and settlement terms?

These are not the only things to consider when dealing with debt collectors. We are here to help you answer the questions above, and much more. Whether it’s harassment, settlement, pay for delete, or any other legal issue with , the folks at Agruss Law Firm are here to help you.

Michael Agruss Headshot

Hi Annalissa, I would be frustrated in your position as well. The Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) protect consumers from these types of issues like threats and calling family members about a debt. I would like to get to know more facts about your case. Please let me know if you have any questions. Thanks, Mike.

Calls 3-4 times a day. Never do they leave a message. At 75 with bad health, I can't deal with it much longer.

Michael Agruss Headshot

Hi James, I'm so sorry about this harassment you're experiencing. It must be tough to deal with. Do you know what they are calling you about? Have you ever answered them? I would like to speak to you about your case to see if you can be compensated for what they have put you through. Please let me know if you have any questions. Thanks, Mike.

I received a call today from National Credit Adjusters regarding an account they purchased from Rise credit dating back from Jan 2014. Before she would answer any of my questions about the account sh insisted on having my social security number which I refused to give her. I have never had an account with Rise. Casey could not give me any information on Rise such as their location or phone number so I could contact them directly. She was rude and persistant on me paying this account immediately. I told her it was not mine and I would not be paying it. She said it would continue to ruin my credit.

Michael Agruss Headshot

Hi Mary, this sounds like it might violate the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA). I can speak to you on the phone to discuss your rights and violations of the FDCPA. Please let me know if you have any questions. Thanks, Mike.

I got a HELPS attorney but all they do is desist and desist..I want to sue national credit adjusters and portfolio recovery since these are collections that are reporting "paid late" every month which is damaging my credit report, this FDCPA &FRCA violation should be immediate removal at bureaus, ya right..I'm frustrated!!

Michael Agruss Headshot

Hi Carolyn, I would also be frustrated in your position. I would like to speak on the phone to discuss the specific details and facts of your case. Please let me know if you have questions. Thanks, Mike.

National credit adjusters keep calling my cell phone between 8:00 pm and 8:30 pm at night. They call from 8045000674, 8045000506, 8045000034and more numbers like that!

Michael Agruss Headshot

Hi Latrice, that would be very annoying to deal with. I would like to get some more details about your experience to see if we can help you. Please let me know if you have any questions. Thanks, Mike.

Do i have to live in IL to retain your services for collections? I have a great deal of medical bills and ambulance rides that have gone to collections. I have a two year oldand i just don't make enough to pay the outrageous costs associated with these bills. I get so many collection calls i want to change my number. Is there anything i can do to get these cleared from my credit? I'd like to buy my daughter a house to grow up in. I have chronic health conditions so my need for medical attention is not likely to stop. It has gotten much better though!

Michael Agruss Headshot

Hi Ericka, that sounds very frustrating, but I am glad it has gotten better. Still, you can be compensated for these harassing calls. No, you do not have to live in Illinois for our consumer services. We work under federal laws, often times under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, so we can help you wherever you are in the United States. I would like to speak to you about your case to get more details. Please let me know if you have any questions. Thanks, Mike.

Michael Agruss Headshot

National Credit adjusters keep calling me, my family, and friends about a debt I don't owe. I don't understand how they got these numbers!

Michael Agruss Headshot

Hi David, this does sound like harassment. We have resolved many cases against National Credit Adjusters in the past on the basis of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), and we could resolve yours. Please let me know if you have any questions.

I JUST RECEIVED A CALL FROM NATIONAL CREDIT ABOUT A PAY DAY LOAN FROM 2012. I HAVE BEEN THROUGH ALL MY LOANS AT THAT TIME AND PAID THEM ALL OFF IN 2013. THIS FIRM WANTED $3100 FOR A $500 LOAN OR $1300 if I could pay $500 today. I feel this is a scam. Why wait 5 years to collect and the info they had, address and CDL# , LAST 4 OF ss# CAN BE FOUND ON PUBLIC RECORD. Right? Please reply. I have spent the past 2 years cleaning my credit. I HAD ONE LOAN FROM 2014 POP UP and I paid it in Oct. 2013. I lost my job and was out of work for 2 mos. I kept track of who I owed. In 2014/15 I WOULD GET A SIMULAR CALL THREATENING TO COME TO MY JOB OR SEND SHERIFFS TO MY WORK AND HOME FOR THE SAME AMOUNTS AND FILE COURT PAPERS. THIS GUY WAS THREATENING COURT PAPERS. Maureen!

Michael Agruss Headshot

Hi Maureen, this definitely seems like a confusing issue. Some details might constitute harassment, but I would like to speak with you on the phone in more detail to see if you can be compensated for these annoying calls. Please let me know if you have further questions. Thanks, Mike.

I received a letter December 22, 2018 about a delinquent account in my name that has been turned over to National Credit Adjusters. I do not owe any money on a delinquent account. This is the first I have heard of this debt. No one else has EVER sent me any bills on this account number. I have never heard of Lion Loan and have NEVER received ANYTHING from them. I feel like I am being scammed. Please call me!

Michael Agruss Headshot

Hi John, I would be very confused in your position also. But you came to the right place. We have resolved several cases against National Credit Adjusters, and we could resolve yours too. Please let me know if you would like to set up a call to discuss your case further. Thanks, Mike.

These people will NOT stop calling me. They have used many different phone numbers to call me from and just today they have called my place of employment and asked to speak to my supervisor. I can't take calls at work and this absolutely crossed the line.

Michael Agruss Headshot

Hi Kandy, this sounds like something we can help you with. I would like to speak with you to get more details on your situation to see if we can help. Please let me know if you are interested. Thanks, Mike.

I need a personal loan and I decided to take it out with a company called rise. N NCA ended up buying the account from Rise. NCA they won't leave you alone I've been paying and just because I had problems with my bank account they won't stop calling this company needs to stop

Michael Agruss Headshot

Hi Nancy, this sound like some sort of harassment. Do they leave voicemails? Have you answered the phone? I would like to get more details of your situation over the phone. Please let me know if you are interested. Thanks, Mike.

called my job left no name or number. I receive the number from a co worker stating that they call and will call back. I will prefer that they don't call my job!

Michael Agruss Headshot

Hi Anita, they should not be calling you at work or speaking to third parties such as coworkers about why they are calling. This would be a violation under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. I would like to speak to you to gain a better understanding of the details of your case. Please let me know if you have any questions. Thanks, Mike.

I was told that an attorney had to be in Ca to fight a case against NCA. Lexington Law advised us to get a police report for identity theft because NCA has been harassing us for 4 years for a debt we do not owe. Yes Lexington Law told us who the original creditor is so I called them and the case was settled but NCA listed it as 4485.00 collection on my husband's credit report. They keep changing the name of the original creditor!

I get calls from The National Credit Adjustors at least 3 times a day everyday. I have blocked probably over 30 different numbers and it is not making a difference. I just had some life events that made it impossible for me to make my payments on things, I am currently at work and cannot talk on the phone at the moment I just wanted to get an idea about what might happen and what it would cost me to get these debt collectors off of my back because I am the only income in my house!

They call me several times a day. My sister is here and by the time I get home it's to late to call. Icall the number on my phone and it says that the person is on the line with someone else to leave a message So you wait then it says can't except anymore messages it is full

National credit adjusters keep calling my cell phone between 8:00 pm and 8:30 pm at night. They call from 804-500-0674, 804-500-0506, 804-500-0034-and more numbers like that!

Hi Chantiel, I'm sorry to hear you are going through this with National Credit Adjusters. No collector should hang up on you if you're trying to set up a payment plan. Also, empty threats, such as legal action, wage garnishment, etc., violate the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA). Under the FDCPA, you are entitled to money damages (up to $1000), and the collection agency has to pay my fees. I can help with you National Credit Adjusters. Thanks, Mike.

Hi Marvin, We can help you clear up this inaccurate information on your credit report. We help consumers with debt collection harassment, robocalls, and credit report problems. Regarding credit report problems, we help a lot of people who have been victims of identity theft. Plus, we've helped dozens of consumers stop the harassment from National Credit Adjusters. So, you've come to the right law firm. Let's discuss your rights and options further on the phone. Thanks, Mike.

Hi Brenda, National Credit Adjusters should send you something in writing when you ask for it. I always advise consumers to get something in writing before making a payment to a third-party debt collector. Without something in writing, how would you know if the company is legitimate or not? I'll help you figure out who the original creditor is. I can also double check your credit report for you to see if the debt is on there too. Have you ever taken out any payday loans?

Hi Michele, Based on my experience, National Credit Adjusters collects on a lot of payday loans. I've helped others deal with National Credit Adjusters regarding Mobiloans. Are National Credit Adjusters and TrueAccord harassing you the same way? Let's further discuss what's going on to see if I can help you with both collection agencies. We can take a look at your credit report too to see if both debts are on there. Thanks, Mike.

Hi Virginia, I've helped another consumer in a very similar situation as you. In that case, my client paid the debt, National Credit Adjusters was still trying to collect on it, and National Credit Adjusters was still reporting the debt as owed on my client's credit report. I help resolve both issues. Now, my National Credit Adjusters is not calling my client, and his credit report is cleared up. I can do the same thing for you. I'll call you to discuss your rights. Thanks, Mike.

Hi Jeri, I can help you stop the calls. Although the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) does not state what constitutes harassment under the law when it comes to excessive calls, I think 6 calls a day is harassing. Has National Credit Adjusters left you any messages or sent you anything in writing? If so, we can check your credit report to see who is the original creditor. A lot of my clients getting calls by National Credit Adjusters are dealing with payday loans as the original creditor. Let's further discuss your situation on the phone. Thanks, Mike.

National Credit Adjusters call me 6 or more times a day!

Had a payday loan with MobiLoans in which I defaulted and it was transferred to National Credit Adjuster's for collections. Debt was settled, and paid. Now, National Credit Adjuster's is coming after me again to collect on a debt that has been settled. I have both letters attempting to collect at different times and a statement from Debt Consolidation company showing the settlement was paid. The people calling are very rude and even though I've explained this to them, they refuse to do their due diligence on researching on their end to validate my claims!

I am being harassed by National Credit Adjusters on behalf of Mobilloans & also by True Accord on behalf of Green Trust Cash for some alleged payday loans in 2016!

they call me continuously from different numbers and I have ask on numerous of times to send me something through mail showing that I owe this bill and they refuse to do and just tell me that they have sent me somthing and I have asked them to send me the contract of the bill I own they refuse to do it also!

I was a victim of fraud and every single account that was opened with the exception of this one was removed from my credit report. This one is now with National Credit Adjusters, LLC ... but it was originally with one of those high interest on-line lenders ... They had actually taken money out of my account for monthly payments and that's when I realized that fraud had occurred. They are now reporting this on my credit report and it has just now appeared as of 03.01.18 ... This happened some 3 years ago. I am trying to get a home loan and this is definitely causing me problems as my credit score dropped 100 points effective the date that they reported this erroneous debt. I have a police report and my bank (Arvest) helped me get through all of this and I can't believe that after all this time they are now reporting this!

Harassment, name calling, I wanted to set up a payment plan but I was told its to late I have to pay today and they hung up on me... asked for my SSN the whole thing. Made threats!

Hi Tiffney, it's an empty threat. I do not think National Credit Adjusters is going to take you to court. I have never seen them sue one my my clients. This sounds like NCA violated the federal debt collection law called the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA). If so, we can sue NCA for money damages (up to $1,000.00 for you), and NCA would have to pay my fees and costs. I've helped dozens of consumers stop National Credit Adjusters. I'm confident I can help you too. Thanks, Mike.

Hi Susan, I'm sorry to hear you are going through this type of conduct with National Credit Adjusters when you're so sick. I would not worry about the wage garnishment. Before National Credit Adjusters can garnish your wages, they would have to sue you and then get a judgment. I have yet to see National Credit Adjusters sue someone over a debt. If National Credit Adjusters threatened to garnish your wages, then chances are NCA violated the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. I'll call you so we can discuss your rights and options on the phone. Thanks, Mike.

My gosh i have been sick for over a month with walking pnuemonia i get a call from national credit adjusters because of my pay day loan with rise and the supervisor was rude enough to ask how i pay my cell phone when all I was doing is try to work out a payment plan so they would not garnish my wages. . i wish i could get help with this matter.

They keep calling my job and my cell phone threatning to take me to court. They call all times of the day

Hi Grady, we can help you. Have you checked your credit report to see if there are any errors or if this debt is on it? You can learn about this by checking out common credit report errors I can help you stop the harassment and figure out any inaccurate information on your credit report. I'll call you discuss your rights and options under the law. Thanks, Mike [email protected]

Calling about a 2014 debt, claiming that a person used my info to borrow money in my name!

Hi Annette, 214-414-9750 is National Credit Adjusters. https://www.agrussconsumerlaw.com/800-286-5427/ is also National Credit Adjusters. Now that we know for sure who is harassing you, it'll be easy to get the calls to stop. Often times, my clients have a difficult time trying to figure out who is calling because collection agencies use 100s of numbers and routinely change them. I do not think NCA is going to contact your HR and garnish your wages. This is just an empty threat. I'll call you so we can discuss your rights. Thanks, Mike.

Hi Kelly, Did National Credit Adjusters tell your mom and brother that you owe a debt? If so, that's a violation of the federal debt collection law. Collectors cannot disclose your debt to third parties. I'll help you. Thanks, Mike.

Hi Natasha, I can help you with the identity theft issue. I can also get National Credit Adjusters to stop calling you and your family members. Collection agencies can only call third parties one time for location information. The fact that NCA is calling multiple family members must be frustrating. I can help you today stop this harassment once and for all. Thanks, Mike.

Hi Judith, That's a long time to be dealing with a harassing debt collector. I will stop the calls for you and help you with the underlying debt. We can figure out a plan that best works for you. Thanks, Mike.

Hi Elizabeth, not only can National Credit Adjusters send you proof of the debt my mail, they are required to. That, coupled with the threats likley means yoiu have a case against NCA for violating the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. I've settled thousands of debt collection harassment cases. I've also helped dozens of consumers being harassed by National Credit Adjusters. I'm sure I can help you, too. Thanks, Mike.

Hi Colleen, this must be very frustrating. Have you tried paying the debt through NCA's online portal at http://www.ncaks.com/pay-online.htm You should get something in writing first from NCA, ask them to remove the debt from your credit report after you pay it, and then pay it if you actually owe it. We can go over all of these issues on the phone. I'll call you. Or, when you're free, please call me at 888-572-0176. We can talk before or after work, or even on the weekends. I'll make myself available to you. Thanks, Mike.

Hi Dakisha, we can certainly communicate through e-mail. I can help you with the identity theft issues, too. I'll also help you settle the RISE credit debt with National Credit adjusters. Please e-mail me a copy of your credit report and any letters you've received from NCA. Thanks, Mike.

Hi LaMarcus, I can stop the harassment for you. I'll send National Credit Adjusters a cease and desist letter. If the calls continue after my letter, we can sue NCA for violating the law. Thanks, Mike.

Hi Vivian, that seems to be the general theme on this case. I'll help you. Thanks, Mike.

Hi Vivian, I would not give out my social security number on the phone either. Confirming your date of birth or address is one thing, but your social security number is another. I can send National Credit Adjusters a debt validation letter. That way, we can figure out if you owe the debt, and if so, to whom you owe it to. Thanks, Mike.

Hi Vicenta, I agree with you that it's hard to trust third-party debt collectors. You have a right to be concerned and hesitant when it comes to a third party demand payment of a debt owed to another. Sometimes, I think payday loan companies, and their collectors, prey on sick and elderly consumers. I can help you. I spent years helping seniors and the disabled for a debt counseling company here in Chicago. I'll call you to discuss your rights and options. Thanks, Mike.

Hi Danny, although it's intimidating, don't worry about National Credit Adjusters' legal threats. I think they are just empty threats to scare you into making a payment. Check your credit report for free at https://www.annualcreditreport.com/index.action Let's figure out how much you owe, and who you owe, so we can resolve your debt. If NCA violated the law, which it sounds like they did, we can go after them for violating the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.

Hi Chuck, your concerns sound all too common to me. Collection agencies use local numbers, likely through VOIP phones, and constantly change their numbers to throw off and confuse consumers. Let me know what numbers are calling you and I'll stop the calls immediately. Thanks, Mike.

Hi Emily, Yes, I can help you resolve this debt with NCA. The fact that National Credit Adjusters threatened legal action against you may violate the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act ("FDCPA"). If NCA violated the FDCPA, I may be able to use that to get your debt waived as part of a settlement. Under the FDCPA, you are entitled to money damages (up to $1,000.00) and National Credit Adjusters has to pay my fees and costs. We can discuss this further on the phone. I'll call you. If I don't catch you on the phone, please call me at 888-572-0176 or e-mail me at [email protected] Thanks, Mike.

Hi Kami, Thank you for sharing your experience with Rise Credit and National Credit Adjusters. Payday loans are brutal to deal with, as the interest rates are often times high. Even if you owe the debt, National Credit Adjusters can only collect the amount owed pursuant to your agreement with Rise Credit. I can help you figure out the underlying debt, and try to help you fix your credit score. I'll call you so we can discuss your options. Thanks, Mike.

Hi Norma, is the debt yours? If the debt is inaccurate, I can help you dispute it. National Credit Adjusters DOES report on credit reports. However, what they report has to be accurate. The Fair Credit Reporting Act governs credit reporting. Please e-mail me the section of your credit report pertaining to National Credit Adjusters. I can then help you dispute it if it's not accurate. I can also help you resolve this debt. Thanks, Mike.

Hi Patricia, I'm glad you were able to chat with Kellie regarding your problem with National Credit Adjusters. I agree with that collectors can be very rude. National Credit Adjusters should not be calling your aunt, unless your aunt co-signed on the payday loan. You and your aunt may have claims against National Credit Adjusters for violating the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. I'll call you so we can talk about your rights and options. Thanks, Mike.

Hi Christina, National Credit Adjusters cannot call you after 9:00 pm. Debt collectors may only call you between 8:00 am and 9:00 pm. I can send them a cease and desist letter for you. The calls will stop then. We can also file a complaint against NCA for violating the federal debt collection law for the calls they made to you after 9:00 pm. I've handled several cases where collectors call outside of the hours they are allowed to call. I can help you, too. Thanks, Mike.

Hi Holly, I'm sorry to hear about your husband. I'm also sorry you have to deal with National Credit Adjusters at the same time. I can help you get something in writing from NCA. I can also help you check your credit report to make sure the the pay day loan company and National Credit Adjusters are reporting accurately on your credit report. Thanks, Mike.

Hi Antwan, I would ask National Credit Adjusters for an itemized statement of what you owe. You can ask NCA to validate the debt, too. I always suggest people get something in writing before making a payment. This is especially true when dealing wit third-party debt collectors like National Credit Adjusters. I'll call you so we can discuss your situation further on the phone. Thanks, Mike.

Hi Jacque, National Credit Adjusters is likely acting as a third-party debt collector collecting the debt on behalf of the original creditor, Cash Call. I do not think NCA is a debt buyer. Either way, NCA should be willing to accept your $250 a month to pay off your debt. It always surprises when consumers try to do the right thing, pay their debt, and collectors refuse their money. I can help you get in tough with the right person at National Credit Adjusters in order to make a payment. I can also see if NCA violated the law while trying to collect this debt from you. Thanks, Mike.

Hi Andrea, I can help you get a receipt fro National Credit Adjusters. If National Credit Adjusters violated the law while collecting this debt from you, I can get you your money back. You have rights under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. Let's discuss those rights, and your options, further on the phone. I'm here to help you. Thanks, Mike.

Hi Craig, I believe you are referring to Pollack & Rosen, P.A. Did National Credit Adjusters start collecting on your payday loans before or after the judgment was entered? Also, is the account now with Pollack and Rosen? If so, you'll have to settle the debt with them as opposed to National Credit Credit Adjusters. Let's go over your situation further on the phone. Then, we can discuss a plan of action. Thanks, Mike.

Hi Laura, you found the right page. 214-414-9750 is National Credit Adjusters. You can tell National Credit Adjusters to stop calling you at work. You have several rights under the federal debt collection law, and some states' laws (depending on where you live). I'll call you so we can discuss your rights on the phone. Or, feel free to call me at 888-572-0176. We're here for you 24/7. Thanks, Mike.

Hi Michael, National Credit Adjusters should not be threatening legal action against you. In my experience, National Credit Adjusters does not sue consumers over debt. Therefore, this threat that they made is an empty threat that violates the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. Let’s discuss your rights and options on the phone. You can always reach me, too, at 888-572-0176 or at [email protected] Thanks, Mike.

Hi, have you been making payments to National Credit Adjusters? If so, did you get something inn writing first? Is this debt on your credit report? Will NCA remove the account from your credit report after you pay the debt? Let's talk on the phone to go over your debt settlement options further. Thanks, Mike.

Hi Samantha, I can help you settle this debt with National Credit Adjusters, and hopefully get it removed from your credit report. Take a look at the section above in the blog that I wrote called National Credit Adjusters Settlement. I can also discuss with you further things to consider when settling a debt. I'll call you. 312-224-4695 is the number on the caller ID that will appear when I call you. Thanks, Mike.

Hi, you should tell National Credit Adjusters to stop calling you. If you cannot get personal calls at work, tell National Credit Adjusters. They have to stop calling you at work once you tell them to stop calling. I'm fairly confident National Credit Adjusters will not garnish your wages. They would have to sue you first, get a judgment, and then garnish your wages. I have not see a case where National Credit Adjusters sued someone over a Kay Jewelers debt. I'll call you so we can talk further. Thanks, Mike.

Hi Cody, Ace Express likely hired National Credit Adjusters to collect on your payday loan. You've reach my firm, Agruss Law Firm, LLC. We represented consumers harassed by debt collectors. If you are having a problem with National Credit Adjusters, we can help. I'll call and e-mail you so we can discuss your situation further. Thanks, Mike.

Hi, did National Credit Adjusters threaten you with legal action? If so, they likely violated the federal law that protects you from debt collectors. NCA usually collects on payday loans. I've also seen situations where National Credit Adjusters and Summit Receivables are collecting on the same debt. We'll discuss this further, and your situation, on the phone. If I don't catch you on the phone, feel free to call e at 888-572-0176 or e-e-mail me at [email protected] I respond to e-mail from 7am until 10pm CST. Thanks, Mike

Hi Kim, I can stop the harassing and threatening calls from NCA. What number do they call from? Also, do you know why they're calling, and if the debt is on your credit report? Let's go through all of these questions on the phone. I'll help you get to the bottom of it, and get the harassment to stop. Thanks, Mike.

Hi Ken, Are you having an issue with National Credit Adjusters (the page you're on) or Northland Group https://www.agrussconsumerlaw.com/stop-northland-group-debt-harassment/ Either way, I can help you stop the calls. If you're dealing with a payday loan, I suspect the calls you're getting are from National Credit Adjusters. Let's get to the bottom of it on the phone. Once i know who's harassing, I'll help you stop the calls. Thanks, Mike.

Hi Marge, it looks like Rise Credit is a payday loan company. Most of my clients dealing with National Credit Adjusters owe debt originally to payday loan companies. I don't think National Credit Adjusters will sue you. NCA has never sued one of my clients. So, don't worry about the threat of legal action. I will help you stop the harassment, and if NCA violated the law, you can get money damages, plus NCA will have to pay my fees and costs. We can go over all of this on the phone. Thanks, Mike.

Hi, I can send them a cease and desist letter. You can also answer the phone and tell National Credit Adjusters to stop calling. Either way, once NCA knows you want the calls to stop, NCA must stop calling you. Thanks, Mike.

Hi, yes, I can stop the calls. That's what my firm does. We help consumers stop harassment by debt collectors. I can also help you check your credit report to make sure National Credit Adjusters is not inaccurately reporting this debt on your credit report. You can learn more about getting a free copy of your credit report at https://www.agrussconsumerlaw.com/practices/credit-report-problems/free-credit-report/ Thanks, Mike.

Hi David, if this payday loan was discharged in bankruptcy, National Credit Adjusters should not be trying to collect it from you. Was National Credit Adjusters scheduled in your BK? Either way, I'll get National Credit Adjusters off your back. If National Credit Adjusters tried to collect a debt not owed (due to your BK), and NCA knew about, we can go after them based on the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. I can also make sure that NCA is not removes this debt from you credit report, assuming it was discharged in BK. Let's go over your options on the phone. I'll call you. You can always reach me at 888-572-0176 or at [email protected] Thanks, Mike.

Hi Frank, you posted your comment on the the page for National Credit Adjusters. If you're having an issue with Immediate Credit Recovery, you can learn more about them at https://www.agrussconsumerlaw.com/immediate-credit-recovery/ Whoever is harassing you, we can stop the harassment. If a collection agency harassed you over debt, I can stop the harassment, get you money damages, and the collection agency has to pay my fees and costs. Let's talk about your rights under the law and your options. I'll call you. Thanks, Mike.

Hi Donald, yes, there's a statute of limitations on payday loans. The SOL depends on what state you live in now and/or what state you lived in when you got the payday loan. If you made a payment to National Credit Adjusters, unfortunately, that restarts the SOL. We've helped consumers with harassment, robocalls, and credit report problems when it comes to National Credit Adjusters. I'll call you so we can discuss the various laws on the phone. Thanks, Mike.

NCA have been calling me...I have made payments too them..still owe @ $500.00 Is there a SOL on these payday loans? And if so how can I get them off my credit report? Thank you in advance for your help

Hi Lantern, Once you tell a collection agency to stop calling you work, the calls should stop. If National Credit Adjusters continued to call you at work after you said stop, then you have a case under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act ("FDCPA"). Under the FDCPA, National Credit Adjusters must stop calling you at work if they know you are not allowed to get these type of calls at work. Under the FDCPA, you are entitled to money damages (up to $1,000.00), and National Credit Adjusters is responsible for our fees and costs. I'll call you so we can discuss your rights and options further on the phone. Thanks, Mike.

National Credit Adjusters keep calling my job and I talk to a lady today and explain to her that she can not keep calling my job because it can get me fired can they keep doing this if I tell them to call my phone number instead of my work number

yes today I received a very rude phone call from National Credit adjusters. My husband and I took out a loan with Rise credit we had a problem with a checking account and had a check returned. I went on line and updated my account information BUT they still attempted to use bad account when we spoke with them they would not help us at all.the man I spoke with today would not let me make any arrangements for a date later as I have no money today he said he would not talk to me anymore and threatened a legal action because I had no money to pay on the account today what are my options. I also have a loan from cashland that I am making payments on and spotload. that are not in collections with this company also I have made arrangements on another rise credit loan can you help me at all!

hi. im wondering if this immediate credit recovery is a legitimate business? they bought my defaulted loan from dept of education well my original loan amount was only 6,000 dollars over 20 yrs ago. through fault of my own I deferred it and life circumstances prevented me from paying my loan now its at 23,000. and they added a 6000 dollar fee for a total of almost 30,000. I tried to do a debt recovery thru the dept of education but they lost my paperwork twice. so they transferred my account to them. DOE wont even speak with me about the loan they say I have to go thru them!

My name is David, I was just contacted on my fiancee's cell, from gentleman named Cory, he said I have a payday loan with an outstanding balance of over 500.00. I filed BK in January of 2014 and he said I took out a loan in may, my case closed in July of 2014. So it should have taken care of it. But now he wants money, he is sending me some info re from National credit Adjusters!

I'm wondering can you help me stop national credit adjuster from calling me about a debt from 07 and I believe that's pass the sol and he said he was going to call people every day!

I get 4-6 calls a day from NCA. How can it stop? They typically call back to back!

The distance for the Northland Group stop Call Okay Northland group started calling us maybe about 6 months ago I'm not quite sure what that or what they're trying to collect but I think it is that payday loan not hundred percent sure and then they have not stopped calling us and my mother-in-law sense then I've only answered the phone one time and ask for me but she also gets calls from them and we have several dozen letters!

I gething harassing call and treating calls from NCA!

I was looking up this number 214.414.9750 and they called my employment stating they need a location on me ASAP and left another number in the voice mail but didn't say why. I see online that they have had many issues with harassment, not sure what they are trying to do!

national credit adjusters has a judgement against me for 3845.00 for multiple payday loans done in 2008. Their attorney is Pollock and Rosen. I need help. Please let me know if you are able to, Thanks

I saw this website after trying to find out who keeps calling me. I get calls all day from local numbers. When I search the number, they come from payday loan debt collectors. I feel a little over my head with the debt - I answered one last Friday and settled - gave my credit card number out and they charged my account and never received the receipt that they had promised. I live in Concord, NC!

Cash central loan gone bad threaten jail told me warrants were out for my arrest. Then national credit got on board keep changing the payoff number wouldn't call back at end of month till it was next billing cycle to add more fees. It's time for this crap to stop

I had a loan with cash call and couldn't pay anything on it I was trying to call them and found out it was sold to national credit adjusters and they refuse to accept the payment I can afford which is about 250. A month they want at least 450.

I got an loan from cash central last year, and really wasn't aware of the 275% interest rate. I paid most of the money $106 every 2week from august to April. Cash central turned to credit adjusters and I owe $1,100.

National Credit Adjusters keeps calling me about a payday loan that I owe, but they can't give me any information on it. I have NOT received anything in the mail about it & I have been receiving calls from other debt collection agencies for the same debt. They keep calling from random local numbers, & it is getting to be really harrassing. My husband is dying, with anywhere from hours to days to live & they call all hours of the day, 8:12 a.m. 10:58 a.m. 8:48 p.m. I would like this to stop. We are going through enough pain & suffering without them adding to it. They called a couple months ago & I asked them to mail me something to prove the debt. Nothing ever came. Can you please help us?

national credit adjusters have been calling me over and over. Every number I block they call from a different number. Also I have been called at 9pm and was told I could be called at that hour.

NCA is harrssing me and calling my aunt everyday. Im paying a check to my bank for a check that was paid to cash store and nca saying i owe 454.00. They dont want to work with anyone and their rude very rude. I was just chating with one of your agents her name is kellie. I was knocked off my internet for a few minutes and apologize for that. Please contact me i need this to stop!

I just checked my credit score and I am wondering how I got this charges in my name? I mean where did they come from. I don't understand

I took out an online loan from Rise Credit (I know, I know) for $2,600. I began paying them back at $482.88 a month ($241.44 biweekly), I made a total of 3 payments when I started to question the amount of interest I was being charged. I called Rise Credit to ask about the interest charge stating that in California they can not charge more than 10% of the loan amount and they were charging over 200%. Rise Credit basically told me I didn't know what I was talking about and that I had to pay it all back including the interest charge. I immediately stopped paying on the loan as I felt they were charging predatory interest rates. Rise Credit offered to settle the account for $2400 but would not let me make payments - they wanted the full amount all at once. I told them I did not have enough money to do that so they closed my account and sent it to collections. National Credit Adjusters now has my account from Rise Credit and they are trying to collect $4,475 - I don't even know where this amount came from but it has been reported to all 3 credit bureaus and has dropped my credit score significantly. National Credit Adjusters calls me at work, at home, and at all hours of the day. They use different phone numbers several times a day and when I block the number from calling me they start calling from a different number. I'm not denying that I took out a loan or that I need to pay it back - I just felt that the original loan was illegal and the amount the National Credit Adjusters is trying to collect is illegal as well. I'm not sure if you can help me or not but I came across your site and thought it can't hurt to ask. Thank you for your time and consideration.

They were calling me almost 15 times a day. When I tried to make an arrangement for paymanet they told me it was too low and the only way I could get payment plans was if I paid almost $200 a month and when I said it was to much they said okay then your refusing to pay and threatened court. So I agreeed. When I changed jobs and wanted to change the days it came out to fall with my payments they told me I was breaking contract and it was all my fault. And that I need to manage my money. After to make sure I paid my bills. I'm just now finding your firm. I wanted to do something sooner. It could not afford it. Is there anything you can do to help em?

These people change numbers and call me everyday at least twice a day.

I was looking into this website about NCA. I just got a call and talked about a debt. They said I was being sued for 1k, and I had to pay now. I tried setting up a plan but was hesitant BC I'm switching jobs on the 1st an am unsure when I can pay. The operator began insisting they don't care and are about to file paperwork. Operator also used legal jargon like , check fraud, malicious, pretrial conference today at 3. I have a) paid off other dept collectors who are professional about it, b) have an open Careone account also paying off things. I want to pay off those I owe but want said company's to be law abiding about it.

I was contacted by a NCA emplyee by using a local phone number, and I want to know if this is a deceptive tactic. Yes, I got behind in paying me account with Cash Net because of medical hardships. I tried to followed the payments agreed upon with this loan company. They never took the money out of my bank account. I called them several times to see if I could do something to speed the payments up on my side. I spoke with several employees of this loan company and still the payments were not withdrawn from my bank. I know this sound weird, but this actually happened. In the meantime, I ended in the hospital. I then I had many medical bills. I am retired and live on a small budget. The NCA employee wanted me to give him my debit card number or my bank account number to set up payments. He wouldn't take anything else and said he needed to get this info. that same day. I told him I would call him in the afternoon that day because I needed to go to the bank to get a prepaid card. He told me that I would probably not call because people tend to do this. My son told me not to call him because he was being rude. I also told him that if for some reason I did not call for him to call me . Then he said that the ball was on my corner and that he would wait for my call. Later that day, he called using their company name and an 800 number. I did not answer because I had time to think that something didn't sound right. It's hard to trust people these days. I am a senior citizen and sick and I don't want to be taken for a fool. I owe Cash Net $339.79. Also after this, I have been getting other 800 no. calls which I had never gotten before. I'm sorry I took too long my RA is pretty bad most days and I has gotten very slow.

I am receiving harassing calls asking me to verify my social security number and date of birth...I don't give that info over the phone.

National Adjusters are harassing me with calls.

National Credit Adjusters is harassing me at work. How do i stop this?

Hello, I have a delinquent account with RISE Credit that started in 2014. I fell behind on payments because someone has stolen my identity. As a matter of fact, my identity has been stolen three time and for the past two years. I tried to work it out with RISE but I was not moving fast enough so National Credit Adjusters has the account now. NCA call me about 10 times a day non stop. When I try to work out a deal with them it's never good enough or they can't accept certain methods of payment. I'm doing the best I can but, I need some help. Unfortunately I am unable to be reached by phone for most of the day so, would you kindly send me an email. Thank you so much.

Every time I make arrangements to pay them they. Change the method of payment and I can't pay the debt. This increases the debt by interest, etc. Right now trying to pay by mail in order to have return receipt. Mail comes back as not deliverable. Very shady. I am at work and can't take calls or stay on computer

I received a collection letter and I spoke with someone on the phone. They claim I owe someone money, (don't specify amount) and they will have a warrant for my arrest if I do not comply with their offer. I asked them to send me proof of a debt, by regular mail. They say they cannot do that. I said if they cannot sent me proof of a debt, then I will not pay a dime.

National credit adjusters has harassed me for two years over a predatory loan .

These people have been calling for months now and saying I owe a debt but will not give me information as to what it is on and have been rude. They have also called family members and who ever else asking for personal info and giving my personal information out.I also was not given a chance to tell them that I was robbed and a victim of identity theft so there for do not feel comfortable giving them info on something I'm not sure is my doings. This is exhausting to the point I don't want to answer my phone any more due to harassment and I'm missing important calls.

They contacted my Mother and my brother (left a voice mail with him telling him who they were) requesting my whereabouts.

Received call today from National Credit Adjusters 214-414-9750, left message called 1-800-286-5427 x1639 back lady was very very rude..before I could call her back she called a coworker not sure how she got her ph# and when I called back she could not tell me how she got her number either. Demanding that I call today before 6pm or case would sent to my HR and wages will be garnished, I explained that in Texas wages cannot be garnished for this type of debt and she said well its ok for you to borrow and not pay back, I said no that's not what I am saying. I advised repeatedly do not call my employer and she said she would call who she wanted to if this was my employer ph# and she could reach me she would call. Do I call her back, ignore and have the calls continue harassing me and my coworker? Or do I call her back tonight before 6?

Ncredit adjusters has asked me to pay fifty a month towards a 593.00 balance but I know it's not this much as payment s were made how can I get the correct amount owed and do I have to pay them

I had a payday loan for $450 I put a stop payment on my account so they could not take any money out because could not afford to pay it back did not have money like i had for pass loan with company well they told me they will sell account off if I don't make payment arrangement or payoff by May 19,2015 I was not able to do I looked up my account and found out it was sold to National Credit Adjusters and need to deal with them from here on on this debt. I received a call today at 5:27 p.m June 15,2015 from number 901-881-8154 and the guy claims I committed federal crimes with my government ID drivers license and Check Fraud cause of non payment due to the stop payment and he was wanting a disposition to see if it was fraud or not to determine if I go to court . H also mention something about sending papers to the Sheriff Department so I just to him go to court and hung up and i filed complaint on the person but only using the number cause did not know the mans nam e or the who he was working for but filed it the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. Plus I'm also on social security disability and not receiving much and that's the reason was unable to repay loan.

My name is Teresa. I took out a payday loan through a company called Cash Net USA. I went through a company called Payless Financial to mediate a settlement and they took money out of my account for 7 months and it was to go into an escrow account. Needless to say I paid for services I never received and they are no longer in business. Long story short I took out a loan for $3,400.00 on 8/23/13 I mad a total of 12 payments for a total of $3,296.40 and I tried to mediate a settlement through Payless financial. Now I am being bombarded with phone calls from National Credit Adjusters (707) 284-0743. The interest is extremely high and at the end of the day 13 payments later I would have paid $7,142.17 with interest being $3,742.17. Do you represent this type of cases? Do I need an attorney? Is there room for compromise? These people are trying to serve me papers, there is a person that text me and when you call back there is a lot of threats, as well as from the phone calls. They have turned it into collections of which has been recorded on my credit report. It's a night mare. Please advise if you could help me and what fee's will be. I keep getting calls from these people even after I advised them to contact me via USPS only. Representative stated that she would continue to call. I get a call at least 3 times a day.

These people have been calling for awhile. I finally called back to see what it is about. They are saying that I have an account from 1997 I don't know what they are talking about and would not give me any information about it

National credit adjusters calls from a plethora of phone numbers including 651 829 8140. They call several times a day and despite requests to stop contacting me via phone, they do not cease.

On 2/16/15, I made payment arrangements with National Credit Adjusters for Payday Loan to settle an amount of $1,500 for $799.00. I agreed to pay $600 up front, and the remainder balance in 30 days. On the 30th day they tried to charge me credit card again for the remaining balance but it was declined. They had called me, and I explained to him nicely I needed 14 more days because I ran into a little snag coming up with the rest on the money. I spoke to a agent by the name of "Kenny", in the Kansas office, and he immediately got so rude and said he was at no liberty to honor the rest of the agreement, then hung up on me. Prior to all of this, he aggressively called my Father cell phone trying to locate me and asked if he can leave him a message. My Father told him he was "not his messenger" and to stop calling him. It's not my Fathers business to know what the call is all about; I am a grown person and not a Minor. Moreover, he continues to call after being so "rude", and hanging up on me.

National Debt Collectors bought a payday loan debt from another company I owe, I explained that I was not working withva hardship and he threatened me to sue me and tgat I could go to jail. I gave him my banking information and agreed to pay but the amount is too much for my budget. What are my rights.

National credit adjusters just called me this morning and informed me i owe cash net usa 430. I told him i only had 57 cents in my acct. He says that answer is not acceptable. Then he asked if i still worked at one location,i said no then he said oh u work at *name withheld* so u have the money to pay this and this will get paid. I am a single mother working at a call center and i have no extra income for this. This man was extremely rude and demanding

Hi MB, 214-414-9750 is National Credit Adjusters. Once National Credit Adjusters knows they have the wrong number, or the consumer is not located at a specific number, they must stop calling you. So, when you told National Credit Adjusters that your friend cannot be reached at your number, National Credit Adjusters should have stopped calling you. Plus, National Credit Adjusters calling you three times in one day seems a little harassing to me, too. I will contact you so we can discuss your rights under the law. Thanks, Mike.

Hi Shannon, I'm sorry to hear National Creditor Adjusters is giving you such a hard time over a debt. However, it does not surprise. Some collection agencies use these tactics to get paid. Regarding the phone conversation being recorded, only in some states does it require the caller to disclose the call is being recorded. So, it depends on where you live. For example, if you live in California, the caller must state the call is being recorded. California is known as a dual-consent state when it comes to call recordings. That is, both parties must be aware the conversation is being recorded. You also have rights under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act ("FDCPA"). I just settled a case last week where my client was being harassed by National Credit Adjusters. I will contact you to see if I can help you, too. Thanks, Mike.

A company called "account Discovery System" has been calling me for 3 months for a collection for National Credit Adjustors. Its for a payday loan in 2011 for 1000.00. Ive paid the payday loan back probably around 800.00. Fell on hard times and counldnt finsih paying it. NOw these pepole say my settlement is $1080.71. and i can make payment agrangements. Then guy tells my i have till the end of the month and thats it. So after the month, calls me again. I know i owe some money, but with all the scams these, i dont know what to do. I talked to him today and he was very nice and we aggreeded i could pay $40 on 17th of April. But when i wouldnt give him my card # to set up payment, he started getting mad. I asked him to Email all the information (he had an old email address). i gave him my correct on. But when i wouldnt give him the card #, he said, hes not wasting his time sending me any more information until i make a payment. And once again, he said, he will not contact me anymore until i call with a payment, but he has said that couple times before and still calls my phone couple times a day until i answer. Its always during my work hours. Also i thought debt collectors had to record the covnersation? Never once was i told the conversation is being recorded. What should i do?

Hi Teri, I'm sorry you had to deal with such a rude collector from Nation Credit Adjusters. It's unfortunate when collection agencies, like National Credit Adjusters, wouldn't accept your monthly payment if that's all you're able to afford. I will contact you to further discuss the situation. You have rights under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. We'll discuss these rights and your options. I look forward to speaking with you. Thanks, Mike.

I contacted National Credit Adjusters today and asked to reduce my monthly payment. I am retired and on a limited income and $62.59 is too much for me to pay each month. I offered to pay $25.00 per month and they told me to forget it-was very rude and hung up on me. I would rather not communicate by phone with anyone because I am tired of harassing phone calls.

Hi Christina, Yes, we can certainly help you and your mom. First of all, National Credit Adjusters should not be harassing your mother if she's not the debtor. Once National Credit Adjusters knows that cannot get in touch with you at your mother's house, they must stop calling. Second, if National Credit Adjusters disclosed the debt you alleged owe to your mother, then you have a case against National Credit Adjusters, too. You and your mother are protected under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act ("FDCPA"). Under the FDCPA, I can get National Credit Adjusters to stop harassing you, get you money damages, and National Credit Adjusters will be responsible for my attorney's fees. You won't owe me a dime for my services. I will contact you so we may further discuss this situation. At the very least, let's get National Credit Adjusters to stop harassing your mother. Thanks, Mike.

National Credit Adjusters has repeatedly call my mother after being given my phone number and asked not to try and contact me through her number. They still call her phone instead of mine to try and get ahold of me. Is there anything that can be done?

Hi Rebecca, You have rights under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act ("FDCPA"). Once you tell a collection agency, here National Credit Adjusters, that you cannot receive these type of calls at work, the collection agency must stop calling you. If you told National Credit Adjusters to stop calling you at work, and they continue to call you at work, then National Credit Adjusters has violated the FDCPA. Under the FDCPA, I'll get the harassment to stop, you're entitled to money damages of up to $1,000.00, and National Credit Adjusters will be responsible for my fees and costs. Let's discuss this further on the phone. At the very least, let's get National Credit Adjusters to stop harassing you today. Thanks, Mike

National Credit Adjusters has been calling my job for a long time now and Im tired of it. They've been told Im unable to receive calls at my place of employment. What can be done/
