I have not been contacted by them yet, however, I had planned to rent an apartment. Unfortunately, due to a fall at work, I am unable to move into the apartment. The apartment complex is holding me to an electronic lease agreement that will be turned over to this collection agency. I never moved into the apartment, got keys nor paid any compensation. The Apartment Complex wants me to pay for them holding the apartment until the apartment is rented. I personally do not see how this is possible and I am sure that this BYL collection agency is going to be a pain to deal with. I will probably need your help once they start harrassing me. I know they should not call me at my job. Any advice? I have been trying to get in touch with attorney locally, but they want you to pay a high rate per hour and I do not have the money to do so.
