Atlantic Credit and Finance just contacted me because my name matches someone else. When I called back, it's not me they're after. It's a different person with the same name, but different birthdate. The school secretary just came down to my classroom and said a debt collection agency just called you. I said, \"I don't have anything past due.\" I call them back, and the guy says he'll pull up my account. I gave him my name, and he asks if I was born in 1988, I said no. Then he asks what my social starts with. I told him. He said, \"oh, it's not you.\" It has to be illegal to embarrass me at my work when it's not even me they're after. I don't even know how they can track me down with out checking to make sure it's me before they call!
I started receiving calls from this number, only a couple. They do not leave a reference number, just a muffled name. i have researched this number and it has conflicting reports of whether it is a spam or legit number.
